Routine Maintenance Work Orders
The
Routine
Maintenance module is designed for recurring work orders. Examples include preventative maintenance and inspections on man-holes,
road-poles, cables, and terminals. The module automatically
generates work orders and uses the same work order functions as the
Telephone Service
Requests/Trouble Calls module. The Routine Maintenance
module has several standard reports to allow the user to view those
work orders that are pending, overdue, and completed. A report displays related expenses, too. The module interacts with the
Plant Records/Cable Records Inventoried Spares file to maintain
quantities used. It stores historical information about the work orders as well.
