TMS v5.2 is JITC Certified
We are pleased to announce that TMS v 5.2 has been added to the
DSN Approved Products Listing (APL).
The DSN Voice Connection Approval Office placed TMS v5.2 on the list
after a series of certification tests (TN #0527901). The Defense
Information Systems Agency (DISA) certification process
included IA (Information Assurance) testing, as well as IO (Interoperability)
testing. TMS v5.2 met interface requirements and required functional
capabilities, and it is certified for joint use within the Defense Switched
Network (DSN).
The IA (Information Assurance) testing for TMS v5.2 took place in September
2006 at the Air Force Information Warfare Center (AFIWC). Additional
security, auditing, and encryption features were incorporated into TMS v5.2
for this phase. Enhancements to TMS v5.2 include advanced security and
session control, tracking changes by individual users, and improved data
storage. TMS v5.2 received IA Accreditation from the DISN Security
Accreditation Working Group (DSAWG) in December 2006.
The second phase of testing, IO (Interoperability) testing, occurred in
October 2006. This testing took place in the Fort Huachuca Joint
Interoperability Test Command (JITC) lab. TMS v5.2 was connected to an
array of switches (including Nortel, Avaya, and Lucent) via serial and IP
connections for the collection of call data, traffic data, and switch
alarms. In addition, K&R's Switch Interface module was
certified for Nortel's MSL-100, CS2100, M1 Option 81c, M1 Option 61c,
and M1 Option 11c. The Switch Interface module allows authorized TMS
users to query and update the switch real-time and to query the switch data
off-line from the switch. TMS v5.2 received IO Certification from
Joint Staff in January 2007.
With the same easy-to-use graphical interface as TMS v5.0, the new
TMS v5.2 adds powerful features for administration and security.
Please feel free to
contact K&R for more information about these developments.
Quality Since 1975
TMS customer support begins with on-site installation and
training. K&R employees become familiar with the customer’s
environment prior to installation. This allows for an efficient installation
process and maximized training time.
Software warranty options include application updates and technical
support. Remote software enhancement and troubleshooting are available, too.
