The E911 option is a supplement to the Plant/Cable Records module. Students will learn to enter and change the relevant emergency information for each circuit number and location. E911 training will also cover how to generate an initial 911 file. In addition, students will learn how to create automatically an updated file for new and/or changed 911 data for electronic submission to the customer's E911 provider.

Specific training objectives include developing the ability to:

• Generate an initial E911 database for export to an E911 service provider
• Make changes, additions, and/or deletions of relevant E911 information
• Produce E911 database update files for export to an E911 service provider
