• Enable users to create and manage images within the Plant/Cable Records application.

The Image Management module is designed to augment the Plant/Cable Records application by providing the capability to display images (pictures, drawings, maps, etc.) on demand. The module relies on MS-Windows applications and consequently, client workstations must be running a version of MS-Windows. Training focuses on the steps and procedures used to link available image files to the Plant/Cable Records application in a context-sensitive mode. Image Management training is independent of the Plant/Cable Records training.

Specific training objectives include developing the ability to:

• Link relevant images to the records for buildings, cables, and terminals
• View the stored images using the Image Management inquiry function
