

Enable users to develop, maintain, and query the Toll Call Message Accounting module.
Course Options:
The Toll Call Message Accounting (TCMA) application training will provide students the ability to produce detailed bills and reports for toll calls recorded directly from the switch or from medium provided by most major telephone companies. Students will be able to charge appropriate organizations for toll calls, line service features, and equipment at the proper rates, including any applicable taxes and/or surcharges. Training will also include procedures for incorporating charges for installations, disconnects, modifications, trouble calls, and other user definable services. Students will learn to set and modify the rates charged for toll calls, services, line features, and equipment. Students will develop customer types to prepare consumer-specific bills on paper and as files for electronic distribution to customers.

The TCMA application training will also teach students to conduct a wide variety of waste, fraud, and abuse investigations. For further analysis, students will be able to generate evidence of abuse in the form of documents or ASCII files. Training will address the use of raw call data analysis as an investigative tool as well. Students will learn how to call types from raw data, and how to analyze call data through the use of detailed or summary reports.
