Switch Interface (SI)
Features:
- Provides a two-way link between TMS and a telephone
switch
- Automatic synchronization of TMS database extensions to the
lines database stored in the switch
- Captures line features, set options, and key assignments,
along with information for MADN, CPU, intercom, speed call,
hunt, ACD and UCD groups
- Query the stored switch data (off-line from the
switch) through a user-friendly graphical query subsystem
- Access custom keyset views, with key assignment details, for
popular business sets
- Update the switch through the TMS work order subsystem
(authorized TMS users only)
- Process switch updates immediately or schedule
updates for a later date and time
- Track activity and save responses for future research with a
log file

Switch Interface
The Switch Interface module provides a two-way link between TMS and a telephone
switch. Users can query the stored switch data through a user-friendly
inquiry program. Authorized users can update the switch through the TMS work order system.
