TMS Menu bar
If
you are using TMS v5.0, the Re-enter Password button takes
you back to the TMS Log In window without ending your TMS
session.
Choose
the Exit System button to end your TMS session and bypass the
Logout
message prompt.
The
Find button allows a text string search of the
TMS menu items. When you can't remember where that TMS feature
is listed, try a quick search.
The
System Status Information button lists which TMS
users are logged in and the status for each user. This is
useful for system administrators. Before updating TMS, a quick
glance at the System Status Information tells you who needs to exit TMS before you
can update the system.
If you find users in System Status Information, use the
Send
Messages button to alert users that you need them to take a break
from TMS for a few minutes. Type a brief message and select
the user from the list. You can choose more than one user at a
time. No need to waste time calling each user before you can
update TMS.
Choose
the User Preferences button to adjust TMS settings for your
computer.
If
you are a long-time TMS user, you may be more comfortable with
numbered menu items. Use the Number Menu Items button to
list item numbers in front of each menu item.
Use
the Help button to access the TMS
Help Files for information on any of the TMS modules.
TMS Tip
Did you know that TMS users can design their own reports?
Although TMS includes many standard reports, there may be a time
when you need TMS data in a specific format. Use the Enhanced
Report Generator, listed under TMS Support Utilities, to design a
report that meets your requirements. The report format is
saved so that you can run and print the special report any time you
need it. Contact K&R for more help with the Enhanced Report
Generator feature.
